Business owner admits tax fraud

Michigan business owner George Adatsi, pled guilty to the felony offense of obstructing the IRS. Adatsi, who owns two businesses, under reported the wages of his employees and hid assets from the IRS. He admitted that he collected $121,214 in “FICA Taxes” from his employees, but did not turn the taxes into the IRS.
Adatsi is facing up to three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
